As the calendar turns to May, the school year is coming to a close. Fittingly, we've chosen the following words to craft by these next few weeks.
If you can read this, thank a teacher.
While this quote may seem pretty straight forward, there are actually several ways to go with it.
- DTers Celeste and Jennifer focused on the word "teacher" and made school-themed cards, with Celeste featuring the quote word-for-word and Jennifer referencing a beloved elementary-school saying.
- DTer Kristina honed in on the word "read" and created a card to capture the childhood joy of sharing a favorite book with a someone near and dear.
- Finally, I concentrated on the word "thank" and created a generic thank you card for the wonderfully talented and incredibly generous Kim Hughes (of Paper Smooches and Our Creative Space), who has been a card-making teacher/mentor to me through PS blog posts and sample cards.
